Back in the 1950's Mrs. Francis Muchler, Mrs. Ava Hoffer, Mrs. Hester Ashbaugh, and Mrs. Shepler formed The National Thresherwomen or "TNT" for short. We were birthed out of a need for the women and children to have alternative activities to being in the infield with the engines and tractors. More than anything, we wanted to support the NTA so we banded together and began selling quality logo t-shirts and other memorabilia- the proceeds of which goes back to funding our activities.
Our Mission Statement
Promote and encourage interest in the NTA- (we have a booth dedicated to selling logo t-shirts & other goods with a focus on items MADE IN THE U.S.A.)
Preserve and perpetuate early American crafts and skills (some of these old time skills are still in jeopardy of dying- we need YOUR help to preserve and perpetuate these skills so all future generations can share them with us!)
Educate through demonstration and participation of early crafts (demonstrations and workshops held throughout the show. Please click on "Events & Activities" to your left.)
